Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer focused Sales Executive to join our West Midlands Team. The Sales Executive at Duchy Homes is an ambassador to perspective and existing customers and will work to achieve high sales performance whilst ensuring our customers have a positive and memorable experience when buying their new home. With support from the Divisional Head of Sales, the Sales Executive will be involved in every stage of our customers journey from first viewing to legal completion and moving in. An energizing and truly rewarding role for a highly motivated and positive individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a customer focused approach and effectively respond to requests in a welcoming, professional and
    personable manner.
  • Support with maximizing profitability by achieving new home sales, in line with agreed targeted legal
    completions.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide expertise relating to Duchy Homes house ranges, specifications,
    upgradeable extras and house buying procedure.
  • Advise on and match all group schemes available to prospective customers such as Help to Buy, ensuring
    that all customers are financially qualified.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a highly presented show home and sales office, ensuring that all
    relevant marketing and digital tools are in use and up to date.
  • Effectively manage the CRM database, as directed by the Head of Sales.
  • Promote Group mortgage arrangements, referring customers to panel financial advisers and manage the
    sales process through to legal completion.
  • Understand the build process and keep up to date with developments in the product to support sales.
  • Ensure that all paperwork and site administration is up to date, and required reports are completed within
    deadlines.
  • Communicate with all relevant parties involved in the customers sale and plot purchase to ensure
    contracts are exchanged within the agreed time frames.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, in particular the Head of Sales and Construction Manager to
    update on sales, prepare relevant internal reports and communicate where necessary.

  • The ability to be able to build strong relationships both internally across various work groups and
    externally with customers and suppliers
  • Experience of working within a service environment, eg. Housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, estate
    agents
  • Ability to remain calm and collective under pressure
  • Ability to negotiate persuasively
  • Embraces change and adapts to new ways of working to support the continuous growth of the sales
    operation
  • Always maintain professionalism and uphold company reputation
  • Thrives on challenges, is resilient and driven to achieve personal and organizational targets
  • Experience of working with various operational IT systems and computer software
