When you visit us, we will give you all the time you need to explore your home-buying options and ask as many questions as you need to, so you are sure you are buying the right plot for you. We will provide you with full disclosure on all the important information about the site, available plots, and the specifics on your preferred home.

If a show home is available we will give you a personal tour to demonstrate the features of the house, before giving you time to browse the property by yourself. And when you’re ready to reserve your new home, we will go through a detailed Plot Information Form prior to completing a Reservation Form, ensuring that you are aware of all the details relating to the home you are purchasing, including the reservation fee, anticipated handover dates, and your cancellation rights.

Regular Contact

Your Sales Executive will keep in regular contact throughout the process, updating you on build progress and answering any questions. We’ll keep you informed on your home’s expected completion date and promptly communicate any changes to help you plan your move.

Opportunity to Personalise

We’re not just building a Duchy home, we’re building your home. Depending on the build stage, you can personalise it to your taste, from kitchen styles to tile colours and upgrades like luxury carpets and worktops. Your Sales Executive will guide you and arrange a time to choose your options.

On Site Visits

We understand that buying your new home is an exciting time and so you will be invited at key stages of your purchase to visit us on-site to keep in touch with the magic of your growing new home.

Meeting NHBC Standards

After contracts are exchanged and your home passes NHBC Quality Assurance, you’ll be invited to a home demonstration. Our Site Manager will show you how everything works so you feel confident. It’s an exciting milestone as you prepare to move in.

Ready on Handover Day

This is the moment you have been waiting for! Once solicitors have confirmed that monies have cleared, we will formally handover your keys, take meter readings and complete any moving-day checks with you. You can expect a clean, warm, inviting home that is completely ready for you on handover day.

Site Manager Visits

We’ll visit 24 hours after handover to help you settle in. Your Site Manager will then return at 7 and 28 days, giving you the chance to raise any issues or ask questions once you’ve started using your new home.

Customer Service is Priority

At Duchy Homes, service and satisfaction are our priority. You’ll have a two-year Customer Care package with a dedicated team on hand to help. For added peace of mind, your home also includes a 10-year NHBC warranty covering structural defects.
